Cornwall 365’s Easter Top Picks

There's a lot to love about Easter in Cornwall! We've put together all the best eggs in one basket to help you make the most of the 2018 Easter holidays.

Whether you’re looking for gratuitous chocolate munching at one of Cornwall’s many Easter egg hunts, some outdoor adventures in the Spring sunshine, or family days out, we’ve got you covered.

Easter Sunday falls on 1st April 2018, but there’s plenty going on across the weekend and the Easter holidays (Friday 30th March – Sunday 15th April). We’ll see you out there!

1. Leaping Lambs Trail at Trebah

15. Easter Egg Hunt at Paradise Park

If there’s one place you are guaranteed to find plenty of eggs this Easter, it’s Paradise Park – both the chocolate kind, and the Spring hatchlings popping out. 16. Bird Bonanza at St Michael's Mount

The largest mechanical puppet ever constructed in Britain tours Cornwall this Easter before heading across the border to Devon and Somerset. The Afternooner gives families and Big Kids the chance to really get to know their favourite mechanical giant, with an industrial-scale feast of treats and frolics. The Afterdarker promises an edgier extravaganza; an explosive experience including white-hot pyrotechnics – sparks will fly!

18. The Easter Festival Service at Truro Cathedral

The full drama of Easter will be played out in music and symbol at this service. Truro Cathedral Choir (with both its boy and girl choristers) sings Mozart’s ‘Coronation Mass’, together with ‘Omnes gentes’ by Tye and ‘This joyful Eastertide’ by Wood.
