About this event
99p Films C.I.C provides Community Interest Cinema events in the South West, empowering audiences and bringing our communities together through the power of documentary film.
We make our screening experiences participatory in nature, by incorporating wellbeing, entertainment, discussion and communal feasts to create a holistic experience like no other.
Our next screening is on Sunday the 16th of April at the Princess Pavilion, where we’ll be screening 2 fantastic documentaries, ‘Down the drain’ and ‘KELP!’. We’ll start with our wellness breathing exercise, we’ll have intervals for discussions addressing talking points such as sewage pollution and seaweed as a food alternative to fish and enjoy a communal feast where we’ll be eating that very thing SEAWEED!
Not only do we want our audiences to have a rewarding social experience but we achieve this all whilst supporting local film makers (through our unique licencing model of 99p per every ticket sold going to the filmmaker), sustainable food producers (by purchasing all our food for the feast through the FFC), along with an accolade of other stakeholders from students, charities, independent businesses and environmental and socially focused organisations.

There is limited parking on site The venue is less than a 5 minute walk from Falmouth town station There are ramps for access to the event venue The auditorium and event spaces are suitable for all people and we will accommodate to any specific needs on the night but please feel free to get in touch and email us at [email protected] with any requests or questions.
