A Celebration of beautiful, virtuosic music by Vivaldi in Truro Cathedral sung by Colin Wilson & strings on Saturday 20th September at 7.30pm

Countertenor Colin Wilson joins with solo violinists Phil Montgomery-Smith and Jenny Wells, Strings and chamber organ to present a beautiful, virtuosic and dramatic celebration of music by Antonio Vivaldi at Truro Cathedral.

The concert will take place in the choir of the Cathedral on Saturday 20th September starting at 7.30pm and finishing about 9.15pm. The fee £15 includes a free glass of wine in the interval. Please pay on the door.

The programme includes some of Vivaldi’s most beautiful sacred and secular solo pieces, including cantatas Stabat Mater, Nisi Dominus and Cessate. A special highlight is the four seasons (Autumn) played by Jenny Wells .
