About this event

Adrian Holmes is a printmaker devoted to Japanese woodblock printmaking and Sosaku hanga. Adrian is interested in abstraction and the spontaneous often exploring these ideas through botanical inspired works.

He divides his time between his woodblock practice and teaching woodblock printmaking in the southwest.

“I’m fascinated by woodblock printing. Its versatility, openness and process. My work is continually influenced by my local surroundings and everyday ramblings here in Cornwall.

Adrian warmly welcomes you to his studio and looks forward to talking all things woodblock print.
