Alegria Ensemble

World-class chamber music at historic Enys House with gardens and complimentary canapés.

Experience an evening of world-class chamber music in one of Cornwall’s most atmospheric historic settings as the Alegria Ensemble performs at Enys House near Penryn.

Presented by Carrick Concerts, Three Centuries of Piano Trios brings together violinist Chloe Dickens, pianist Ricky Moreira and cellist Sara Juneau for a programme spanning more than 200 years of musical history.

The ensemble will perform works by Haydn, Brahms and contemporary American composer Joel Mandelbaum, tracing the evolution of the piano trio from the Classical era to the present day. Their personal connection with Mandelbaum offers a rare opportunity to hear and gain insight into music by a living composer.

Make a full evening of the occasion with exclusive access to the beautiful Enys Gardens from 6pm, where ticket holders can enjoy a leisurely stroll and complimentary canapés before the concert. A licensed bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments will be open before the performance and during the interval.
