Come join us on the dancefloor for a very special, extended edition of ALL IN DISCO, to celebrate and raise funds for the Acorn Theatre. Hosted by artist Faye Dobinson and choreographer Kyra Norman, collaborating as ALL IN.

ALL IN DISCO is a chance to really let go and just dance, to music that Faye and Kyra select from all genres, eras and styles – immense tunes that share a spirit of liberation, hope and joy, as well as being powerfully dance-inducing. Soul, funk, pop, house, rave, experimental sounds and classic disco tunes – we can have it all, together.

We ask that you arrive on time, to start with us at 7pm. We all begin together: ALL IN from the start. (Once the dancing starts, if you want to take a break for a drink, chat, sit down at any point you are, of course, welcome to do so!)

Disco, as a movement, came about at a time of political upheaval and division in the USA, and brought people together on the dancefloor as never before. ALL IN DISCO is in that lineage: an energised, radical, heartfelt space where difference is celebrated, freedom is felt, and your style is your own. Shrugging our shoulders at conventional thinking (and ideas of how you ‘should’ dance) together with you we create a dancefloor that feels like a new kind of home – with an incredible soundtrack, and impeccable attitude. “Happy, sweaty, unpretentious good times.”

If you’ve been coming along to our Winter events at the Union Hotel Ballroom, Pz, and at Auction House, Redruth, you’ll know this is going to be something unique and special – come make the most of this opportunity to dance in this beautiful building. This evening is a fundraiser for the Acorn: a really special, community-centred space, and host to Distant Dances, Kyra’s regular Thursday morning dance class.
