About this event
Cornwall Heritage Trust is transforming Castle an Dinas near St Columb Major for a spooky spectacular this October to celebrate Allantide, and invites you all to join them!
Considered by many to be Cornwall’s answer to Halloween, Allantide is a fabulous celebration with traditions including divination, mischief, ghosts, bonfires, magic and superstition.
Taking place on Thursday 26th October from 12noon – 5pm, visitors will be in for a terrifying time at the historic hillfort filled with activities including apple crafting, cooking with fire, and spellbinding storytelling.
The activities are all free to take part in, there’s no need to book, and you don’t need to be members. Just come along and enjoy – it’s sure to get your spine tingling!
This event has been part-funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
Cornwall Heritage Trust is a small, independent charity whose mission is to preserve and strengthen Cornwall’s unique and distinct heritage. It does this through its grant schemes, education projects and caring for 14 important historic sites across Cornwall, one of which is Castle an Dinas.
