During the first full day of ALMA’s Winter Arts Weekend, there will be drop-in creative sessions for kids, young people & families:

10am: A Story Telling session with the wonderful Recalling Fire will launch the festival on Saturday 30th November. Expect mystery, magic and wonder as we delve into the tales of Newquay’s ancient past and first pioneering inhabitant
11am – 2pm: Drop-in art sessions for kids, young people + families run by Newquay based artist Delphine Gwilliam-O’Connor
2pm – 4pm: Make a Mini Monolith drop-in clay workshop for kids, young people and families.

This activity is forming part of Alma’s Winter Arts Weekend is on the closing weekend of Be Newquay Festival. As well as this activity, there are many other experiences to enjoy as part of Alma’s Winter Weekend. Find out more here.

The Be Newquay Festival is a new season of events, activities and workshops that celebrate Newquay’s culture and creative spirit.
