Caradon Youth Theatre present: Annie The Musical

CYT proudly presents their summer blockbuster – ‘Annie the musical’.

The tale of young orphan Annie in 1930s New York City and her determination to find her parents who abandoned her at the orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. She escapes and embarks on a fun-filled adventure meeting a host of characters including billionaire Oliver Warbucks, a lovable mutt Sandy and even President Roosevelt! The evil Miss Hannigan, her sleazy brother Rooster and bimbo girlfriend are in hot pursuit however with a plan to make them rich, leading to a dramatic conclusion and of course … a happy ever after!

Winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical – showstopper songs include ‘Tomorrow’, ‘It’s The Hard Knock Life’, ‘N.Y.C.’ and ‘Easy Street’.

Expect the usual outstanding ‘CYT’ treatment from our talented team … Big sets, epic lighting, effects & sound, acting, singing & choreography, our exceptional live band and of course an amazing cast of over 40 young performers!
