East Cornwall Bach Choir presents a Summer Concert

St Petroc’s Church in Bodmin, PL31 2DP will be the venue for East Cornwall Bach Choir’s Summer Concert ‘ Anthems to Delight’ on Saturday 21st June at 7.30 pm.

Simon Dunbavand, the choir’s Musical Director has put together a feast of stirring English music including ‘Songs of the Fleet’ and Beati Quorum Via by Charles Villiers Stanford, ‘I was Glad’ and ‘Blest Pair of Sirens’ by Hubert Parry, ‘Give unto the Lord’ by Edward Elgar and ‘O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing’ by Cornish composer Russell Pascoe. The organist for the evening will be Joshua Hughes.
The choir is delighted that talented Baritone Matt Secombe will be returning as our soloist for the evening.

Beneficiaries of the choir’s popular music scholarship scheme which funds music lessons, violinist Tristan de Rochfort Roper and guitarist Angela Lau will perform solo pieces.
