About this event
In 2024 the artists Harriet Hellman and Charles Binns circumnavigated the Svalbard archipelago as part of the Arctic Circle Artists Residency Programme. This beautiful and poignant collection of salt water prints and ceramics created in collaboration with nature is the result.
They encountered a world of incomprehensible scale, raw beauty, and a timelessness that seemed to transcend human experience. Yet, this awe-inspiring environment is also one of profound fragility, its delicate balance increasingly threatened by human activity.
