This fifth lecture in a series of 7 on Penlee House gallery’s fine and decorative art collection with Catherine Wallace features maritime paintings including boats and harbours mainly in Cornwall and portraits of fisherfolk. Prints of birds and drawings of animals from sketchbooks.Artists include Reuben Chappell, Henry Martin, Bessie Boyns, Lavin Pascoe, Walter Langley, C.N.Hemy, H.S.Tuke, Ralph Todd, Percy Craft, Edward Bouverie Hoyton, Lamorna Birch, Eleanor Hughes, Ernest Procter, Jack Pender, Michael Strang, Robert Jones, Fred Hall, Ralph Todd etc.
