Lecture 6: Course on History and Appreciation of Penlee House Gallery’s Art Collection.

Newlyn Copper, Silver, Enamel, Cryséde Textiles and Ceramics.

This sixth lecture in a series of 7 on Penlee House gallery’s fine and decorative art collection with Catherine Wallace features a selection of Newlyn copper by various artists, Cryséde textiles and ceramics including Troika pottery and some jewellery from the collection. Artists include Philip Hodder John Pearson, Herbert Dyer, Francis Bertram Cargeeg; Alec Walker; Eric Leaper, Bernard Leach, Robin Welch and Eric Hiller; Ernest Procter, Laura Knight and Kate Westrup. Jewellery and enamels by Ella Naper.
