Christmas in Cornwall - Artists cards, scenes and snowscapes 1880 - 1940.

This talk looks at the artists from Newlyn, Lamorna, St.Ives and Falmouth Schools of art in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and how they depicted wintery and Christmas scenes in Cornwall as well as the many hand-painted Christmas cards they sent each other and their friends and families.

Artists include Stanhope and Elizabeth Forbes, Tuke, Charles Napier Hemy, Lamorna Birch,T.C. Gotch, Munnings and Laura Knight etc.
