About this event
Visit our new exhibition that tells the story of the shifting market for ceramics in 1930s Britain. This experiment started in the London Harrods store in 1934 with 27 artists including Laura Knight, Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicholson, working alongside leading ceramic factories to produce affordable tableware for everyday use. The results were diverse and fascinating.
Price: Included in normal admission fee.
On display in the Roger Preston Gallery from 4 July to 1 September.
