About this event
A very special Artisan event to showcase the best of Makers on the Lizard Peninsula.
Working in with partnership with the Children’s Sailing Trust, volunteers from the heritage craft community in this wild and beautiful part of Cornwall are holding their second elite fayre at Trevassack Lake, to exhibit and sell their work. The Lizard Peninsula, due to its rural and remote location, is often viewed as being on the periphery of the Craft scene but CST are giving weavers, wood-turners, glass makers, jewellers, artists, photographers, soap makers, textile artists, ceramicists, paper sculpture artists and other artisans a much needed chance to shine on their own doorsteps. It is to become a regular fixture on the craft circuit and give locals and holidaymakers alike an opportunity to shop exceptional handmade work directly from the Makers themselves.
This is a curated gallery experience with free entry and free parking 10am to 4pm at Trevassack Lake, Garras, Helston TR12 6LH
