About this event
Join book artist Vicki Aimers for a Cornish countryside inspired, narrative stitch and creative writing full day workshop as part of her week long ‘Wastelands to Wonderlands’ exhibition residency.
On your day together, you will explore narrative stitch and creative writing, with other techniques shown on the day, to create a beautiful fabric pocket journal inspired by memories of walking in the countryside.
The workshop will also be informed by the fascinating life of Catherine Payton Phillips (1727-1794) and her links to Cornwall.
10am – 4pm
With lunch break. All materials provided.
