A free family weekend of street-theatre, aerial performance and dance, music and creative workshops.

ARTS ON THE BEACH | 9 & 10 September

Set imaginations soaring on the sand, with two days of sea-themed creativity and entertainment. Sustainability-minded festivities inspired by the ocean – and protecting it. With a natural amphitheatre at Watergate Bay, we’re inviting you to two days of sea-themed, sustainably-minded festivities for the whole family this September.

Watch Out of the Deep Blue, a 13-foot sea giant puppetry and dance performance, brought to life by the Johnny Autin Dance Company; while dance and parkour company Prodigal UPG entertain the crowds with its show On the Strandline. Throw shapes on the shore as part of one of the UK’s largest silent discos on Saturday evening, and see the sunset in with sea shanties echoing from the cliffs with Old Time Sailors on Sunday evening.
