About this event
Join Forest for Cornwall and Newquay Town Council at the library to talk trees, and to choose a free tree to plant in your front or back garden. We will have six species to choose from and can provide advice on the best tree for your space. A great opportunity to do something positive for nature on your doorstep. No need to book, just drop into the library anytime between 10.30am and 12.30pm. The trees are small saplings, and very easy to carry home.
Nearest public car park: The Manor car-park, St Michael’s Road, TR71RA (pay and display).
This workshop is part of Be Newquay Festival – a new season of events, activities and workshops that celebrate Newquay’s culture and creative spirit. Throughout each weekend in November, the festival will be taking place at various venues across the town. Find out what else is on the programme here. Join us and be creatively curious.
The Be Newquay Festival has been curated by Cornwall Council project ‘Experience Newquay’ in collaboration with local project partners Love Newquay and Visit Newquay. It is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
