Barefoot Embrace Dance Camp. A weekend of partner dancing and camping by the sea.

A weekend of partner dancing and camping by the sea in Cornwall, launching what we hope will become an annual event. Featuring Elton Rodriguez — Forró dancer, musician and Capoeirista from Brazil — plus Argentine Tango, embodiment practices and Gyrokinesis®. Shaped by African, Indigenous and European traditions, these dance forms share deep roots and a spirit of community.

Leader and follower roles are not gendered, informed by the inclusive principles of queer tango. Suitable for complete beginners through to experienced dancers. A founding aim of this camp is to bring together dancers, teachers and practitioners as a working group — visioning and team-building a core steering group for a larger event in 2027.
