About this event
Angela Firth of Bojorrow Baskets will teach you how to make your own round shopping basket. You will learn how to weave a round base, how to set up the basket using the traditional stake and strand technique, you will learn different weaves and how to insert and wrap a handle. Your willow basket will give you many years of pleasure.
To come to this workshop you must be over 18 years old and the course is suitable for both beginners and improvers in basket making
Max 6 participants to allow for individual time.
A great opportunity to learn the variety of techniques for this method to develop your skills in traditional English basketry.
Cost of this 2-day workshop is £120 including materials.
Arrival from 9.30am, for a 10am and we will go on 4pm each day.
Tea, coffee and homemade cake will be provided. Participants should bring their own packed lunch.
