About this event
Sarah Corbett is an award-winning activist, author and the founder of the Craftivist Collective. Her new book, The Craftivist Collective Handbook, is a manifesto for gentle protest. Learn how to use the soothing and thoughtful process of craft to help channel feelings of sadness, anger or powerlessness into proactive, encouraging effective actions. Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai has attended her workshops and economist Kate Raworth recently invited her to give a talk and workshop to the staff of the Doughnut Economics Lab. Sarah poses the question: if we want a world that is beautiful, kind and fair can we make activism tools that are more beautiful, kind and fair?
