Beach Clean and fish weaving workshop

Beach Guardian would like to invite you to our mission centre in Trevone to learn more about the plastic pollution in our oceans.

We will begin with an introduction to beach cleaning , looking through some of the interesting things that we find and look out for, and then walk down to Rocky Beach to see what we can find.

Afterwards we will have a look at the objects we have found using our digital microscopes and plastic scanner to investigate our findings.
The session ends with weaving a fish out of some of the ghost gear that we have found on our beaches!

Accessibility

Details

Parking is at the Church in Trevone. Andrew will meet you there at 10am and we will walk up to the Beach Guardian Mission Centre just a couple of minutes away. The building is quite old and situated in the entrance of a field, unfortunately this means that accessibility is difficult at the moment but do not hesitate to ask any questions to see if we have solutions.
