About this event
Welcome to Bees & Beekeeping
Gain all the necessary information and handling skills to get you started with honeybees from our passionate beekeeping expert, Liam Ferguson.
Liam will guide you through sympathetic bee keeping, working with bees in a more natural and organic way.
Starting with the basics to beekeeping, exploring the biology of honeybees and their environmental value and benefits, progressing to acquire the skills necessary to maintain a healthy and productive apiary.
Our beekeeping workshops will also offer the opportunity for close observation and interaction with the bees.
All workshops include refreshments and a locally sourced light lunch to enjoy in our garden space – weather permitting!
