About this event
Our Thursday concert in the 53rd Endellion Easter Music Festival features the full Festival Orchestra and Chorus. The first half consists of Vaughan Williams’ rarely performed and exquisite Epithalamion, conducted by Ben Glassberg with soloist Gareth Brynmor John. In the second half the orchestra performs Beethoven’s luxuriant Symphony No. 7.
We are grateful for the generous support of the Vaughan Williams Foundation.
Programme:
– Ravel, Le tombeau de Couperin, M68
– Vaughan Williams, Epithalamion
– Beethoven, Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op92.
