Make your own willow bird sculpture for your garden

Willow weaving workshops in a unique off-grid woodland setting near Padstow and Wadebridge.

Based at Mellingey Mill, our hands-on workshops offer a chance to learn traditional willow craft techniques and create your own basket or sculpture to take home. No experience needed—sessions are relaxed, friendly, and suitable for beginners.

Set in a peaceful valley surrounded by nature, this is more than just a workshop. It’s a chance to slow down, switch off, and enjoy a creative experience in the Cornish countryside.

All materials are provided, and most of the willow used is grown on site. Workshops take place outdoors under shelter, so please dress for the weather.
