St Mary’s Singers and Orchestra are performing Britten’s Cantata Saint Nicolas with Royal Academy of Music soloist Owen Lucas, and choristers from the Cathedral.
The choir will perform Britten’s Hymn to St Cecilia and the orchestra will perform Elgar’s Serenade for Strings and The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams.
St Mary’s Singers is the voluntary choir of Truro Cathedral and considered to be one of the finest chamber choirs in Cornwall. This concert is a treat not to be missed.
Accessibility
Details
There is ramp access at the front of the cathedral in High Cross near the front entrance. Nearly all parts of the cathedral are accessible by ramp. There is an accessible toilet near the Chapter House. A hearing loop is installed, with a portable loop also available. There is a wheelchair available for use by the ramp entrance. Steward assistance is available where possible.
