Temperate Rainforest Tour, Wild Bathing, and Woodland Sauna Experience (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Cabilla’s temperate rainforests are among the rarest habitats globally. Like their tropical counterparts, these forests face threats from poor management, pollution, invasive species, habitat fragmentation, and climate change. It’s vital to ensure their survival while inviting others to appreciate their beauty.
The advantages of wild bathing are numerous. Immersing yourself in cold water activates your body’s natural stress response, releasing stress hormones and grounding you in the moment for enhanced focus. This practice can elevate dopamine levels, boost endorphins, improve circulation, and aid sleep and recovery. Hence, we encourage all visitors to embrace wild bathing at Cabilla, where the River Bedalder flows through their private ancient oak woodland and temperate rainforest. Afterward, warm up in the woodland sauna overlooking the river.
Closing Circle & Check-Out (4:15 PM)
Express gratitude as we conclude with a brief guided relaxation.
As always, our retreats include unlimited tea/coffee, delightful cakes from BB’s Bakery, and wellness goody bags for you to take home.
