About this event

A street festival, across Callington , 5 venues, Bands, Dance, Giant Procession, Craft Market.

Callington MayFest an extraordinary all day event of activities displaying the best of Callington and area – 5 venues and stages across the Town featuring:
Dance displays and Workshops : – Flamenco, Morris , Belly Dance and Zoo Humans
Bands: – Mayfester Players, Company B ( 1940’s Big band) , Cornish Groove Collective ( 17 piece Big band) , Barretts Privaters ( Shanty), The Great Scrap band, Teleynore ( Harpers), Lost -y-Uke
Song: – A Tonement, Mayfester Singers
The poetry Take Away. Morris Dance extravaganza dance area. Formation Horse Team – All Steps. Forest School experience.
Theatre – Katie’s Black Hole Adventure ( Little Trebiggan ).
Folk Session – Come All ye
Grand procession of Giants, dancers, Town Criers and participating Groups.
All day Craft fair and Street Food.
All taking place in Fore Street, New Road, Town Hall, St Marys, Methodist Church and local Pubs
