About this event
In 2022, skeletal remains dating from around 1700 were found on the cliff top overlooking Newtrain Bay at Trevone, Cornwall. In his ‘long story’, Give Him a Little Earth, writer Gareth Rees imagines the possible lives of this human skeleton. Join him in discussions about the intriguing remains with Melodie Manners, from Cornwall National Landscape – who commissioned the story, Ann Reynolds (Strategic Historic Environment, Cornwall Council) and Dr Richard Mikulski (Senior Archaeologist, Cornwall Archaeological Unit) – with music from Toby Lobb (formerly of Fishermen’s Friends)
