Opportunity to see the step by step process that goes into producing a Botanical watercolour painting and to purchase paintings, prints and cards.

I am a Botanical artist and I work in watercolour to produce botanically accurate paintings of plants and flowers. What started as an interest in plants and painting has now turned into an obsession.

My inspiration is anything that I see in my garden or a nursery or whilst out on a walk along the coast or in the countryside; anything special that catches my eye and heart so that I have to try to capture its beauty in paint.

As a new member of the Eden Project Florilegium Society, I am working on a project for their archives which is ongoing throughout the year. My studio is a loft conversion at my home in the heart of Helston and when you visit I would love to show you what goes into the planning and the eventually painting of a plant subject. It’s quite an eye-opener. I have original paintings for sale, as well as prints and cards.

Flat walk from road to front door. Studio up a flight of stairs so not accessible for those with mobility difficulties

Directions

Aim for St. Michael's Church in Helston. Entrance to Grylls Parc is off Church Lane right by the churchyard. Drive to top of the cul- de-sac and we are on the RHS.
