About this event
Carly and Sven are looking forward to returning to St Ives Arts Club as part of the September Festival.
Their sound consists of Sven’s looped piccolo bass and Carly’s beautiful, bewitching vocals with covers of Prince, Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Wonder to name just a few, as well as original songs from their upcoming debut album.
Carly and Sven combine extensive backgrounds in live performance and session work locally and internationally, although their collaboration is relatively new.
Their music, honest and written from the heart, provides an insight into what being a songwriter is all about, with stories of life, love and optimism as well as loss and struggle.
