About this event

Adult & Junior (5y+) triathlon event. Swim-bike-run fun for the whole family.

Enjoy breathtaking views of both coasts at Carn Brea Triathlon – The Bat on 8-May. Sprint and Super Sprint races (15y+) and an electric atmosphere with a stadium finish await. Bring the kids for junior events (5y+) for all abilities on and around Cornwall’s only 8-lane athletics track in the afternoon.

SENIOR EVENTS (15y+)
Race solo over sprint and super sprint distances or pair up with a friend or family in a relay team.
• Start: 8:00am
• LITTLE BAT: 200m swim | 10.5k bike | 3.75k run
• BIG BAT: 400m swim | 18k bike | 6.5k run

JUNIOR EVENTS (5-16y)
Take on the non-timed Scooting Bat (5-8Y), a real highlight for aspiring triathletes, or compete in your age group in the junior event, the Mini Bat (8-16y).
• Start: 2:30pm
• 5-8y: 425m scoot – 425m bike – 350m run
• 8y: 50m swim – 800m bike – 600m run
• 9y-10y: 100m swim – 1.6k bike – 1.2k run
• 11-12y: 150m swim – 2.4k bike – 1.8k run
• 13-14y: 200m swim – 4.0k bike – 2.4k run
• 15-16y: 400m swim – 5.6k bike – 3.6k run
