About this event
Behind the door of this old fish store nestled in the valley opposite her home and beautiful rambling garden Caroline Cleaves studio has been described as ‘Wonderland’. A genuine immersion into a sense of place continues to inspire her work and the studio conveys this. Large scale vibrant paintings, detailed prints, created on her printing press, sit alongside installations that have been created recently for the G7 and other festivals across the county. It showcases the depth and breadth of a professional Cornish artist and gives the visitor a glimpse into the themes that inspire her work which is distributed throughout the UK, Europe and Tokyo, through a variety of media. Visitors can also see where the designs are created for Emma Ball Ltd and Whitewater Contemporary Gallery who also represent her in Polzeath. A collection of original work, framed prints, cards and other products can be purchased from the studio where the ideas originated from.
