About this event
Being a fan of shape, symmetry, colour and texture, I would like to say I’m a contemporary artist that enjoys following her heart. The element of water has fascinated me since childhood and to be able to form works of art by liquifying glass is both captivating and energising, both at the same time.
The studio is situated in the house and my gallery, where a collection of work can be seen & purchased, is displayed in a converted piggery, adjacent.
My work varies, undertaking commissions, wall art, bowls, coasters, Xmas decorations, jewellery and more.
I can demonstrate the process I use for glass fusion art in which I use glass sheeting, graded frit, powders, stringers & more. Various moulds, silicone & ceramic. Tools, hand & machines not forgetting the important 3 kilns used.
