About this event
Cathy is a writer whose books include The Last Act of Love, Everyone is Still Alive, How To Write It All Down and How To Feel Better. Her new novel Ordinary Time was released in July 2024 to much acclaim.
Join us in Newquay’s bookshop to kick start your creativity with this encouraging and enjoyable one-off workshop on how to develop a writing practice that will enrich your life and help you to write pretty much anything at all. You’ll leave feeling energised and inspired with more understanding of your own creative process and plenty of practical suggestions to take into your writing future.
The workshop inside Clemo Books will see participants explore their own writing alongside prompts from Cathy. How To Write It All Down, as well as Cathy’s other titles, will be available…
This workshop is part of Be Newquay Festival – a new season of events, activities and workshops that celebrate Newquay’s culture and creative spirit. Throughout each weekend in November, the festival will be taking place at various venues across the town. Find out what else is on the programme here. Join us and be creatively curious.
The Be Newquay Festival has been curated by Cornwall Council project ‘Experience Newquay’ in collaboration with local project partners Love Newquay and Visit Newquay. It is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
