About this event
We have a free ceilidh taster class coming up, followed by a ceilidh with live band The Rosevilles the week after. Everyone welcome – please do come along and try this out. Our focus is on having fun!
What’s ceilidh? A bit like a barn dance, nos lowen, American Contra and square dance, balfolk – there are lots of names for similar things. It is informal dancing suitable for everyone, with set dance steps for pair or group dances. Often high energy, though not always. Focussed on joining in rather than any complicated technicalities. Upbeat music. Great for keeping fit and beating the blues.
It would be a great help if you sign up for the taster on the Eventbrite form (see link), so we know how many people to expect.
