About this event
Falmouth Lifeboat invites you to join in an evening of music and dancing to help celebrate 200 years of the RNLI.
This special event at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall features music and dancing with the Tinners Ceilidh Band and caller Claire Ingleheart and singing from The Bryher Boys Sea Shanty Group.
No previous experience of ceilidh or barn dancing required as our caller will guide us through the dancing. Or just come and enjoy the great atmosphere in a stunning event space, amongst the boats and exhibits in the museum.
The ticket price includes a local Cornish pasty provided by Pip’s Pasties and drinks will be available from a pay bar.
All proceeds from the event go towards Falmouth Lifeboat and supporting the next 200 years of saving lives at sea in Cornwall.
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Betty Stogs, The Cornish Charity Maid, aka Fred Thomas, our special guest who will also be helping with the charity auction.
Falmouth Lifeboat Fundraisers will also be running a raffle on the night.
This event is kindly sponsored by Cornwall Marine Network.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite (eventbrite booking fee is £2.38 per adult ticket) or can be purchased at the RNLI Shop in Falmouth at 44 Arwenack Street – no booking fee. Open 11 to 3 Mon to Sat.
