About this event
Best-selling novelist Patrick Gale and multi-award-winning singer songwriter Jim Causley join forces to celebrate the life and words of the Launceston-born poet Charles Causley. The performance will interweave excerpts from Mother’s Boy, Patrick’s new novel about Causley’s early life, with readings and song settings of Causley poems. Don’t miss this entertaining and evocative tribute to the man described by his friend Ted Hughes as “a marvellously resourceful, original poet”. The event will include an interval.
