“Unpredictable Humans. This is the stuff of story.” Will Storr, The Science Of Storytelling.
Join writer Tamara Rosenwyn for a hands-on workshop where we rip up the rule book and employ unconventional techniques secretly used by professional writers! Discover non-traditional approaches to help you read between the lines and think outside the box. Exercises such as ‘randomisation’ will open up new possibilities and connections, encouraging you to write in a different voice from one you might usually choose. Are you stuck in a creative rut? Do the creative-cogs need a bit of linguistic lubrication with some WB40? (Writers’ Block 40?) Well, this is for you!

Tamara Rosenwyn is a Cornish writer known for her compelling exploration of socio-cultural issues, including housing, identity, and mental health, intertwined with Cornish heritage and folklore. Screenwriter Jane Pugh praised Tamara’s writing as a “human display of fireworks.” Passionate about community engagement in the arts, in 2021 she founded LAFTA, a community theatre and film group. Tamara is enrolled on Screen Cornwall’s & BFI South West New Writers Network 2024/5, and is currently commissioned to create an original play for the Minack Theatre.
