About this event
Charles will talk us through why no dig works so well, it saves time and saves effort, reduces weed growth and the weeds are easier to pull out.
No dig beds also retain water and improve drainage compared to beds that are traditionally dug. Charles shows the result of his trial beds where he sees an increased output of around 10% compared to dug beds.
It is commonly assumed that you need more compost for no dig growing but Charles proves this is a misunderstanding.
We’ll also learn how to start a new no dig bed and Charles discusses what to do if you have lots of weeds. There will be time for questions afterwards.
