Cirk Hes proudly presents Screen – The Frightmare Before Xmas

Cirk Hes (‘Shoal Circus’) are a new incarnation of popular local circus Airfish Circus and Cirk Hes Next Gen. Performers range in age for this show from just 16 years old up to 50-something! All of them are delighted to be bringing their first performative outing as a combined troupe to The Acorn this Winter season.

Please note there are elements to this show not suitable for under 16’s to view, without parental consent, due to some adult, some dark and some scary content.

Screen – The Frightmare Before Xmas is both a commentary and a send up of our interactions with, and our behaviours in relation to our mobile phones. Hilarious and horrible, dangerous and entertaining, a tool for change and a route to depravity, the show attempts to both mirror and to articulate the double edged sword that our cell phones have become within contemporary culture.

We hope that while you are laughing your head off, or marvelling at the feats and visual treats on display, that you have yours in ‘airplane mode’ for your own sake!!!!! Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
