About this event
A collection of play-based activities exploring the connection between clay and the senses. From clay marble runs, clay kitchen to painting with clay slip.
When: Monday – Fridays throughout August 10-12.30pm & 1.30-3.30pm, (Drop in sessions, no need to book).
These activities are open to all ages and can be engaged with from an adult’s or child’s perspective.
1. Handmade: Make without use of sight
2. Clay Landscapes: Paint your surroundings with clay slip
3. Clay Ears: Listen to the world through clay forms
4. Clay Kitchen: Make with clay in the garden and leave your creations for others to find
5. Clay Marble Run: Play with clay marbles and the bamboo marble run
These activities are open to all ages and can be engaged from an adult’s or child’s perspective. The activities are in the museum garden and can be played with for 5 minutes or much more!
