Give your flowers the best home possible with your very own vase – made by you.
We are very excited to present our first vase-making workshop, running on Friday 28th April from 10am – 12pm. All attendees can get stuck in with clay techniques, such as wedging, kneading, slab building and surface decoration. Enjoy the freedom of personalisation and build a vase unique to you. A perfect gift to yourself or someone special – any flowers displayed in your vase are sure to look extra special.
This workshop is run by local artist Sian Bush, an expert at running sustainable ceramic workshops, courses and commissions. You will be in safe hands, as Sian guides you through each step of making a vase.
The 2 hour session will allow attendees to construct their vase into a final product ready for firing. Sian will then take them home to fire them in the kiln, and vases can be picked up a week later from Tre Pol & Pen, ready to be used straight away.
All equipment is provided, though we recommend bringing an apron!
A hot drink is included with all tickets.
The event is suitable for all experience levels and ages 12+
