About this event

Bring clean clothing that needs simple repairs and we will see if we can bring them back to life

11:00am – 3:00pm. Free drop in workshop. No need to book.

Need a button sewing on? A woolly jumper darning? Want to patch your favourite jeans? Bring us clean clothing that needs a simple repair and we will see if we can help you bring them back to life.

Charlie Lewin is passionate about avoiding textiles going into landfill. She will be with us all day sharing some basic sewing techniques so that you can have a go at learning a few skills to make your clothing last!

This workshop being run as part of our ‘Women’s Work’ exhibition launching on International Woman’s Day (March 8th).
