About this event
99p Films is hosting a community cinema event at the Princess Pavilion on Sunday the 27th of Aug (6pm-9pm), Screening Vandana Shiva’s new feature length documentary ‘The Seeds of Vandana Shiva’. Expect a social and participatory evening following our signature style of
EAT – BREATHE – WATCH – DISCUSS
EAT – We’ll start the evening off with a communal feast using locally sourced produce from Cornish farms down the road (all supplied by the Falmouth Food Coop)
BREATHE – Our screening experience begins with a short mindful breathing exercise, settling our minds and connecting the room with one singular breath.
WATCH – Enjoy an inspiring and motivational documentary on the big screen where we’ll witness Vandana Shiva taking on big corporations and fighting for farmers rights and the protection of environmental and social justice.
DISCUSS – We’ll have a group discussion hearing what our community and each other has to say, listening to alternative opinions and different perspectives.
With time at the end to build on those connections and socialise with one another over some LIVE MUSIC!
