Community Day 2026

Truro School Community Day: music, food, activities and fun for all ages on Saturday 20th June.

Join us for Truro School’s annual Community Day on Saturday 20th June 2026 from 12pm to 9pm. This free festival-style event is open to everyone and brings together pupils, staff, families, alumni and the wider community for a day of live entertainment, family activities, delicious food and plenty of fun.

Enjoy a packed programme of performances on the Main Stage throughout the afternoon, followed by a Family Silent Disco, the Truro School Showcase and a headline evening performance from popular funk and soul band Groove Diggers.

There will be activities for all ages, including climbing and archery with Vertical Blue, circus workshops from Cirk Hes and Hotch Potch Performance, roaming entertainment, street performers, buskers and community showcases across the campus.

A favourite attraction returns as the Little Eden Entertainment Bounce Parc transforms the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre into a giant inflatable fun zone. A dedicated SEN and Toddler session will take place before the main event opens, providing a quieter and more inclusive experience for younger visitors and those who benefit from reduced sensory stimulation.

Visitors can also explore artisan stalls, enjoy swimming pool inflatables, treasure hunts and a range of family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Food and drink will be available from a variety of vendors, including Cornish pasties, BBQ favourites, pizza, street food, cakes, ice cream, candy floss, popcorn and refreshments. From 5pm, additional street food and bar facilities will be available as the event continues into the evening.
