About this event
Over the few years this rowdy 7 piece have been popping up all over the South West and further afield at various locations from London Science Museum to headlining slots at various festivals, playing support to many international artists. They have gained a solid reputation as one of the County’s most entertaining live acts.
Their live set consists of bawdy renditions of the post-war swing greats; Louis Jordan, Louis Prima and Big Joe Turner to name a few. They also throw in some well-crafted originals to mix things up. Matthew Arundell, the band’s leader, originally started the band as a contrast to the more sophisticated swing style of the “rat pack” artists.
