Join us on zoom for the launch of The Charles Causley Trust’s Young Persons Poetry Competition 2022! This is the first event during the 3-day celebration launching Sunday Times bestselling author, Patrick Gale’s latest novel, Mother’s Boy.

You will be lucky enough to ‘zoom meet’ our Patron and head judge Patrick Gale who will be announcing the theme to our annual Young Person’s poetry competition, which celebrates the work of budding young writers continuing the legacy of Cornish poet Charles Causley’s passion to encourage and enable writers of all ages.

In our 2021 competition, we received a record 515 entries, with winners hailing from Bridgwater in Somerset, London, Manchester, Suffolk and even Aberdeen, so it doesn’t matter where you are in the world…we would love to see you.

Join us on Zoom on Friday 4th March from 10 and 11am as Patrick releases information about our 2022 theme, deadlines for entries and more.
