About this event
Some products are seen today as typically Cornish, or have a long association with the region. We will explore “what might have been” and how developments in legal protection of innovation have sometimes helped, sometimes hindered in rewarding entrepreneurs through the centuries. Stephen Adams has run his intellectual property consultancy from Cornwall since 2013; his impending retirement may allow him to continue researching the industrial history of the county.
You can buy Stephen’s Book ‘Cornwall Invention through the Centuries’ in the Museum of Cornish Life or online
